The Mockup Academy is an excellent series of classes, especially useful if you’ve ever wondered how difficult, or how easy, it can be to display your designs, art and photography realistically online.
If you have access to Photoshop, through the Mockup Academy classes, Kris will soon help you develop your own mockups, enabling you to display your art work beautifully in a range of styles.

Mockups help bring your pattern or design to life. By presenting your work in a ‘realistic setting’ you are helping your viewers visualise and imagine your designs in the ‘real world’.
Mockups are particularly useful for digital product creators, like us here at White Lane Studio. Presenting a flat image of a digital pattern or design can be difficult for the viewer to imagine how they might use that design. Product mockups show them how they could use your designs.
Mockups of realistic products, from tee-shirts, to notebooks, to mugs and all sorts in between, can be purchased ready to use from various digital product shops, such as DesignCuts. Others, you can find free, perhaps with limited usage rights or of lower quality, online.
However, there are times when you want to either adjust a purchased mockup, or you want to create a mockup using your own photographs or photos you have usage rights to.
Making a mockup that’s a little more unique to you and your product and presentation style has it’s benefits. Yet when you don’t know how to effectively adjust or create a mockup, you’re options are somewhat limited.
Mockup Academy classes are the classes I wish had been available many years ago. Back then, I had to learn the long hard way. How lucky are you that you can learn a much quicker and easier way?
