In your Year End reflection I trust you’ve found much to be grateful for in 2018 and I hope you’ve enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Holiday, if you celebrate it.
As the year comes to a close, I find the time between Christmas and New Year provides a little more head space to reflect on the past year and to prepare for the new year ahead.
Personally, it’s been a rather health challenging year (18 months really) which set my creative plans back a touch. However, we have to keep looking forward and continue taking baby steps toward our creative goals.
Overall, the little baby steps taken, as and when able, have helped me through 2018. I may not be where I had planned or hoped to be, yet on reflection, as I recover from a recent operation, I realise that I’ve actually achieved quite a few important personal and creative goals.
So that’s progress, for which I’m very grateful.
Most of all I’m grateful for :
- all family and friends – they ‘get’ me and love me anyway
- my wonderful clients and buyers who continue to support my work, thank you
- the NHS: a surgeon who listened and fixed things for Xmas (my hero)
- being able to eat Xmas dinner this year
- being able to do some creative work for longer than 15 minutes
Taking & Making Time
Happily, there’s been time taken to enjoy being with family, time taken to rest & recover, and making time to get creative.
Although, I’ve achieved so much more this year, and even in the last week or so of 2018, here’s a preview of what is likely to be the final texture collection for 2018 on Etsy ~ Holiday Collection
Mind you there’s still a little more of 2018 to go, so you never know, my newest collection, Very Berry Textures, may make it in time.
Happy New Year
Are you excited about 2019? I know I am.
May your year ahead be as amazing as it can be for you and
your nearest & dearest.
Wishing you good health & happy days (priceless)
